This idea came to after doing another version of the underscores heardle (which you can view here), and getting to a point where I thought "This is too easy, what if I make my own version which includes some incredibly obscure nonsense?" And here we are.

Heardle? What's that?

It's like a different version of a Wordle, where instead of guessing a word through the position of the letter, you guess a song title through an increasing amount of time to listen to said song. Every guess doubles the time you get to listen to the song (this differs between different heardle clones), and you have 6 guesses to get it right.

At one point, there was an official version of this game, but it was bought my Spotify, and then shut down less than a year later. Now, only clones, like this one, exist.

Features

  • Playing the Heardle: I mean, that's the whole point of it
  • Sharing your score: After winning (or losing), you can share your score to see how well others can do.
  • See your stats: You can see how many games you've played, how many you've won, lost, what your win rate is, your distribution of guesses, and more!
  • Look at your history: If you want to know what you're better at guessing, and what you need to listen to more.

In the future

  • Custom Heardles: The ability to create your own heardles, with the artist of your choice (or find someone else who's done it already)
  • Leaderboards: Compare your speed and accuracy to others
